Position overview
The purpose of this role is to support the agency and its staff in the delivery of client communications. This is an administrative support role to the agency and is critically important to the overall delivery of service to our clients and partners.

As an Intern with Soda, you should expect to learn the field from top to bottom and will complete this program ready to enter any public relations role with excellent skills and as such you must demonstrate a willingness to learn and a positive attitude to the role. You would work closely with internal teams and demonstrate an ability to establish trusted, and transparent relationships with media and our partners.

ABOUT YOU
Key Responsibilities
▪ Develop a strong news sense for issues of concern to Soda and its clients and monitor relevant media on a daily basis
▪ Supports Soda across all aspects of campaign management from briefs through to evaluation and reporting
▪ Develop and maintain excellent database management skills.
▪ Manages the set-up, traffic, and reporting of communications bookings and their related creative or content assets
▪ Support Soda in the preparation of various reports and communication planning documents
▪ Develop and maintain industry tools skills and usage
▪ Working with media, internal teams and agency partners ensuring the timely delivery of material and accurate instructions
▪ General admin including WIP updates, and meeting coordination
▪ Build effective relationships with internal teams, media, and agency partners
The role
▪ The ability to deliver creative thinking and contribution to client communication development and execution
▪ Partner with internal team members to strive for the highest quality communications for clients

▪ Contribute toward client and market perception of Soda as a communications leader that puts its clients’ needs at the centre of everything we do
▪ Drives accurate and accountable data loading, billing, and reporting to ensure client campaign performance
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualified in related field (or final year comms/PR student)
Strong communication skills, and an understanding of the news and media landscape Great organisation skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask
